1 Questions about Reading: (1) How long has Mr. Chen lived in Sunshine Town? (2) When did Mr. Chen get married? (3) There have been many changes in this town. What has the centre of town become? (4) How does Mr. Chen feel from time to time? He has lived in Sunshine Town since he was born. In 1965 It has become a park. He feels a bit lonely.

The Present Perfect Tense 现在完成时态

The Present Perfect Tense We use the simple past tense to talk about what happened at a definite time in the past. Past present Eddie was born four years ago.

Eddie has lived with Millie since he was born. We use the present perfect tense to talk about things that started in the past and still have some connection with the present. Eddie has lived with Millie since he was born. Eddie has lived with Millie for four years. present Past present Past 4 years
