Proposal Opportunities (1) NSF-IUSE: framework for all investments in research and development that are critical for curricular improvement in undergraduate STEM education, within formal and informal learning environments. use and build evidence about improved STEM instructional practices design and study innovative learning opportunities create, implement, and test program, curricular, course, and technology-driven models develop, implement, and test creative approaches for adoption of education research into disciplinary teachings develop and validate assessments/metrics for undergraduate STEM learning and instructional practice conduct fundamental research on issues of undergraduate STEM teaching and learning 7/19/2018

Proposal Opportunities (2) Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE:EHR). Has two tracks: Engaged Student Learning: design, development, and research studies that involve the creation, exploration, or implementation of tools, resources, and models that show particular promise to increase engagement of undergraduate students in their STEM learning and lead to measurable and lasting learning gains. Institutional and Community Transformation: innovative approaches to increase substantially the widespread use of highly effective, evidence-based STEM teaching and learning, curricular, and co-curricular practices in institutions of higher education or across/within disciplinary communities. 7/19/2018
