There are millions of predators in the world A predator is an animal that naturally preys on others To prey on means to hunt or kill

Some of my favourite predators are the: Angler Fish Spitting Cobra Puffer Fish

Angler Fish

ANGLER FISH It has a lightbulb on its head to attract fish to eat The bulb is made by bioluminesce bacteria which flows through its body They don’t get food very often so they the train for the opportunity The female anglerfish grasps the male to become one.

Spitting Cobra

SPITTING COBRA Spitting cobras attack from 8 feet away with their poison spit A Spitting cobra’s venom is one of the strongest venoms in the world A spitting cobra can only blind you if its venom hits your eyes The spiting cobra kills anyone who tries to destroy its nest

Puffer Fish

PUFFER FISH A puffer fish can grow three times its size by sucking in air Puffer fish puff out their spikes to be safe from predators A puffer fish can have enough poison to kill thirty adult humans
