Recycled Blue Jean Projects Mrs. Votaw South Side High School

1st Project The top part of the blue jeans.

Possibilities of 1st Project: With the top of the jeans, make one of the following. A skirt A pair of shorts A bag or purse Other ideas only using the pockets.

1. Skirt Possibilities Make sure the waistline fits you. Next cut off the legs. Add a ruffle.

Shorter versions with ruffles going up the side. Or ruffles with rick rack 1. Skirt Possibilities

1. Skirts Possibilities Two pairs of jeans, used the legs to make the pleated skirt bottom.

What are all the different possibilities of styles for turning jeans into with shorts? This is starting out with placing fabric on the back and stitching around the hole with three different stitches.

4. Other Ideas with Pockets? What else could you do with just the pocket instead of the entire top part of the jeans?

A Christmas Stocking Could end up making 4 out of one top portion of the jeans. Personalize with names on the embroidery machine.

4. Other Possibilities with pockets. A wall decoration that started with a jean pocket.
