Organization The Jerash University is located in a modern campus in the center of the lively city of Jerash. The Jerash University (JU) was established in 1992, since then it has applied itself to research and community research knowledge. Most of the programs offered are based on applied research, creative thinking, and field work, practical training, combined with modern teaching techniques.

Staff Jerash University consists of 11 faculties. JU offers more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate programs (8 Master programs).

Staff Since its establishment in 1992, the Faculty of Agriculture has always strived for keeping up with the latest developments in food science, nutrition and applied applications through Food & Nutrition Science Department. This department offers a Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food Technology. Since its establishment, more than 500 students were graduated.

Role in the project 1- To contribute in the Networking of the companies and to develop the public administrations 2- Establishment of Food Safety Centers (participation in the feasibility study, mainly in terms of the appropriate infrastructures, procedures and technical requirements) 3- Development of Training material 4- Training of Faculty, Industry and Students 5- Organizing Info-Days

Role in the project 6-To implement and manage the interactive platform for distance learning 7- To update the didactic material and to develop a new and effective training method 8- To organize and manage the project Courses 9- To participate in the monitoring of the project, providing index and planning 10- To develop the laboratories and to ensure that efforts are not duplicated
