Participation of employment services in the social protection employment benefit to obtain an unemployment benefit in Poland must be a work period for at least 365 days in total during the 18 months preceding the day of registration and income earned during that period equal to at least the minimum pay period of unemployment benefit: 6 months (basic) 12 months – for unemployed who resides in the territory of the district, if the unemployment rate in that territory exceeded 150 % of the average nationwide unemployment rate or 12 months – for unemployed who is over 50 years old with a record of at least 20 years of work period

Participation of employment services in the social protection employment benefit the amount of the unemployment benefit 100 % - in the case of 5 to 20 years of work service 80 % - when length of service is less than 5 years 120 % - while the length of service is over 20 years basic benefit (100% ) - first 3 month 761,40 PLN (approx.182 EUR) rest of period 597,90 PLN (approx.143 EUR) reduced benefit (80%) - first 3 month 609,20 PLN (approx.146 EUR) rest of period 478,40 PLN (approx.114 EUR) raised benefit (120%) - first 3 month 913,70 PLN (approx.219 EUR) rest of period 717,50 PLN (approx.172 EUR)
