What did Neil and Buzz use to create these photos and videos? Learning Objectives: To know how the moon landing was recorded. What did Neil and Buzz use to create these photos and videos? They used two video cameras and two still image cameras. Cameras were different in 1969. They were not automatic and used a film to print the photos from. Unlike today where we can take a photo and look at it straight away you had to instead put the film into a special shop to be developed before you could see the photo. They were also still using black and white cameras. Have a look at the video cameras used here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0NcOWnhgNI

Here is one of the still image cameras: Learning Objectives: To know how the moon landing was recorded. Here is one of the still image cameras: https://petapixel.com/2014/07/29/a-detailed-look-at-the-camera-tech-behind-the-historical-apollo-11-moon-landing/

What do we use to record photos and videos today? Are the cameras we use today, easier to use? Do you think astronauts use their ipads/phones to take photos in space?

Learning Objectives: To know how the moon landing was recorded. Task Your task is to pretend to be Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and record your first steps on the moon using the ipads.
