Elections Get Ready to Nominate in April!! President 2nd Year VP, 1st Year VP (At Orientation) Secretary Treasurer Publicity Part Time Liaison NASW Rep (Preferably someone who went to Springfield)
President – Main Roles Preside over meetings Create and manage agenda Signs official documents Represents group at functions Works with officers to make decisions Coordinates elections Coordinates Pinning Ceremony/Speaker with Dean’s Office
Vice Presidents Supports President and presides in their absence. Oversees committees and special projects Communicates/coordinates with other groups
Secretary Coordinates all written correspondence Writes minutes if applicable Coordinates meeting spaces and IT needs Submits member roster to student involvement Keeps track of attendees at meetings
Publicity Coordinates Marketing/Flyers Attends training for myDU Maintains website content Represents group at functions Prepares press releases for Student News and media
Treasurer Maintains account Releases funds when needed Prepares and submits check requests Provides tax exempt form to members making purchases. Reports account activity to membership
Part Time Liaison Is a person who can attend the regular and office meetings and may coordinate separate club meetings that is suitable to part time schedules.
