Give & Take: Designing service infrastructures for a good senior life Motivation Rethinking civil engagement in elderly care by retaining knowledge, expertise and abilities of older people in the workforce or among semi-retired in a Give & Take infrastructure will have positive effects on demographic ageing and economic development in society (Malmborg & Yndigegn, forthc.) Social interaction through being involved and feeling of belonging are crucial aspects of a good (senior) life. (Malmborg 2012, Kierkegaard 1843) Living Labs as open platforms for social and technological innovation. (Binder et al 2011) Idea Designing a service infrastructure facilitating the reciprocal exchange of ‘favors’ in local communities.
