The V6 3.2l Engine

V6 engine V6 3.2l engine output and torque curve

V6 engine V6 3.2l New features in engine mechanicals Improved V6 engine with 3.2 litre displacement, fitted longitudinally. Continually variable inlet and exhaust valve timing. Single spark ignition (one rod-type ignition coil per cylinder) Intake and exhaust channels with considerably increased flow capacity Inlet and exhaust valves with enlarged diameters Crankshaft with enlarged stroke Optimised variable intake manifold with pressure regulated crankcase ventilation Watercooled alternator Oil filter and oil cooler unit integrated in the engine bracket New features of the engine management system Electrical throttle valve operation constant lambda regulation with 2 pre-catalytic-converters and 1 main-catalytic converter control of the inner exhaust gas re-circulation secondary air injection electronically regulated fan control

V6 engine Off road capable seals bell housing is sealed against the engine crankshaft gasket with additional sealing lip water drain by the turning movement of the 2-mass flywheel

V6 engine The belt drive The belt drive for the auxiliary assemblies has an enlarged looping angle on the pulleys. This prevents slipping of the belt when driving through water.

V6 engine The fuel tank Compensator reservoir for petrol engines for diesel Electrical fuel pumps Fuel supply sender Sucking jet-pumps
