Synonyms = shrewd, clever, insightful Many felt Steve Jobs was an astute business man, rebuilding Apple from a failing company to one of the top ten corporations in the world.

Ethos- evidence from an authority Pathos- emotional argument Logos- LOGIC - facts or statistics Rhetorical Question - a question asked in order to create a dramatic effect or to make a point rather than to get an answer. [Like when your parents ask you, “Did you really think that was a good idea?” or “You aren’t wearing that to church, are you?”]

Then..... You will have to write about what point or idea the author is trying to convey and HOW he or she is doing it. What literary techniques does the author use to get his or her point across.
