Introduction Phytosanitary measures are required by NPPO of the importing country Directives, protocols, bi-lateral agreements and permits NPPO in the exporting responsible for phyto verification and certification

OPEN PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATES No Additional declaration is required: APS quality assurance requirement is used PPECB Quality certificate is required DoA, APIS issue official phytosanitary certificate Additional declaration space on the certificate is cancalled

ADDITIONAL DECLARATION REQUIRED Specific declaration wrt quarantine pest/s required by importing country: Phytosanitary procedures: Draw representative sample (2%); Inspection; Inspection results; Interception - inspection report stating reason Acceptance – phytosanitary certificate + AD

POST HARVEST MITIGATION TREATMENTS Cold treatment Pre cooling Fruit pulp at specified temperature for a specified period Refrigeration + fumigation Fumigation executed by registered service provider Irradiation Other

IRAN In those cases where no permits can be obtained phytosanitary evaluation and certification shall be based on known phytosanitary requirements This include mitigation treatments; Exporter to take responsibility to provide detail of importer and entry into

INDONESIA Phytosanitary certification ; Based on provision of a Quality certificate; No additional declaration shall be made Cold treatment detail to be specified on the phytosanitary certificate. PPECB temperature certificates shall be attached to the phytosanitary certificate as an addendum (ISPM 12);
