Logging into myAccess for the First Time

You will be asked to login using your MU Pawprint and password Log In to myAccess… To access your account go to the Disability Center’s website; disabilitycenter.missouri.edu and click on the “myAccess” button. You will be asked to login using your MU Pawprint and password

Required Forms… When you login for the first time to myAccess you will be prompted to read and electronically sign any required forms that the Disability Center has. All students will be required to sign the Accommodation Responsibilities Checklist. If you have certain types of accommodations, you will be required to read and sign individual forms that have information pertaining to those. Examples include: Exam Accommodations Alternative Textbook Formats Note-Taking Assistance

Required Forms (cont)… Click on one of the forms (if more than one is required) and the contents to read will populate for each of those forms. Once you read and understand the contents for each form you can sign the consent at the bottom of the page by typing in your name as it appears under the signature line. Click “Submit Form” and you will then be taken to your myAccess account. Your name

myAccess Account Homepage After you complete the required forms section you’ll then be taken to your myAccess Dashboard. You will see “Your To Do List” displayed in a light yellow box (shown to the right). “Your To Do List” will list anything that you need to complete, such as requesting your accommodations for the current semester if you haven’t done so already. Be sure to view the Accommodation Renewal Requests Tutorial to learn the steps for the process of requesting your accommodations for any upcoming semesters.

Information Release Consents Undergraduates can apply for one-on-one tutoring through the Learning Center. If this applies to you, you will need complete the Learning Center Release of Information Form. You’ll access this form through the Information Release Consents section of myAccess. Choose the consent type “Learning Center” and click “Continue to Specify Additional Information”

Information Release Consents (cont.)… Be sure to enter in the following information: Full Name Address Phone Number The “Additional Notes” section is not required to have anything entered in that section. Be sure to click the “Submit” button to finalize the consent form.
