Patti’s Lemon Pound Cakes

Patti’s is cutting the lemon cake into 15 equal pieces to make small pieces of lemon pound cake. . Draw the shape and cut the lines showing how it will be cut.

12” 8” What are the dimensions of the each lemon cake now that you have the size of the coking sheet?

She invites three friends over to share the lemon cakes among the four of them. They all ate the same amount and all the cakes were eaten. How many pieces did each person eat? How would they divide and cut up the 15 pieces to get everybody the same amount?

For a pan of Patti’s lemon cakes , she needs 3/8 of a cup of flour and 1/3 of a cup of sugar. Patti has a bag of flour that contains 2 3⁄4 cups of flour. How many cooking sheets of lemon cakes can she make?

One cooking sheet of lemon cake requires 3/8 of cup of flour and 1/3 cup of sugar. If she has 2 cups of sugar and and 2 ¾ cups of flour, which ingredient will she run out of first?

Each cooking sheet of pound cake requires 1/3 cup of sugar Each cooking sheet of pound cake requires 1/3 cup of sugar. If you eat a piece of lemon cake, how much sugar do you eat? Do you consume more flour or sugar if you eat a piece?
