Attributes of Effective Programs Official Coordinator Formal Application Process Needs Interests Capabilities Pairing in same school but different departments Formal gatherings to support the process Mentor Training Teaching Workshops Frequent contact with protégé (once a month?) Rubrics (classroom visits, discussion guides, Progress/Feedback reports Mentors are recognized and compensated (in some fashion)
