Energy & Green Communities ♦ Electric Delivery and Energy Reliability: $11.0 billion total for Modernization of the electric grid – $4.5 billion specifically for ‘smart grid’ applications; intended to set up digital technologies in the transmission grid that will save energy and costs and facilitate recovery from disruptions – $100 million for worker training –$80 million for detailed resource assessment of future transmission and demand requirements after consultation with FERC
