Tests/Quizzes Students will have several tests/quizzes during the school year Students don’t need to study how to spell the vocabulary, but need to know the meaning of the word. Final test (April/May): - Writing one paragraph (7th grade) - Writing multiple paragraphs (8th grade) Webpage

Class Description for Elective The students are working in groups and need to decide which Spanish speaking country they will visit. The project will include arranging train fare or airfare, lodging, some meals, budgeting your time and money, and sightseeing. Each group will learn about the process of planning a trip, while learning helpful vocabulary for buying tickets, ordering food, asking for directions, and making conversation with new acquaintances. At the end of the trimester, each group will present to the class their trip, using Power Point, to show where they would stay and what they would do.
