What’s the Point? Mission tends to be a program that a handful of people in the church care about. Mission involvement needs to be broadened to include the WHOLE congregation Educating our congregations about mission is for the sake of God’s mission in the world!

How to Get Started Begin with the people who are interested, even if it is small PRAY

How do I get people interested? PRAYER! Introduce mission concepts to existing education or discipleship efforts Quality communication that demonstrates the passion and value of getting involved in mission Short-term mission trips Recruit Be creative
