Personal life Jackie Robinson was born January 31, 1919 He went to UCLA and did track, football, baseball, and basketball and lettered in all 4 sports. Jackie was drafted into the Army and later became an officer. He nearly got kicked out of the army, but ended up leaving the army with an honorable discharge in 1944.

Opinion O-1 O-2 In my opinion Jackie is arguably one of the best baseball players in the history of MLB. I say that because he not only did amazing in the league but he also changed the game forever. Jackie was a really good person. The way he impacted the game his first year in the league was crazy. But not only that he had an impact off the field. Now because of him they celebrate Jackie Robison day in the MLB.
