His real name was Henry Reese.
He went to school in Manual which is in Louisville.
He married Dorothy Walton on March 29,1942.
He died on August 14, 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was buried in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

His positions were Third Base and Shortstop he batted and threw right handed.
He was drafted by the Pittsburg Pirates, but he was sent down to the Minor Leagues, clearly a mistake.
Later he went to the Brooklyn Dodgers he played with them from 1940 to 1958
He made his MLB debut on April 23, 1940.
He also won the World Series.
