Math: This week we will have a supplemental unit working on figuring out the missing number in an equation. There will be an assessment at the end of the week on this skill. Some sample problems are: ______ - 3 = 3 7 = ______ + 3 5 + _____ = 9 10 - _____ = 4 8 = ____ - 2 _______ + 6 = 9 Reading/Writing: The students are learning how to write book reviews on fiction books. Science: We will continue our study of insects. This week we will focus on ladybugs and bees. We have a bee keeper coming on Friday morning to teach the children all about bees.
