This week in Math Unit 5, we will continue learning about fractions and decimals. We will focus on the following concepts:
Decimal number lines
Comparing & ordering decimals
Decimals in visual and word word
Homework

25 multiplication problems for each day.
Test will be February 7th
Science
We will conclude our unit on ecosystems and move on to studying adaptations.
English
Language Arts
This week we will practice the following skills:
Figurative Language
Opinion writing
Comparing & Contrast texts to graphics
Prepositions
We will have an ELA Test on Friday, Feb. 3rd. This test will include similes, metaphors, idioms and reading comprehension.
Social Studies
We conclude our study of the American Revolution. Our test will be on February 1st.

Tables will be in the MES Commons to drop—off your blankets.
From January 9th – February 3rd, the MES Junior Beta Club will sponsor a Blanket Drive. New blankets will be donated to “Senior Citizens Inc” of Savannah. These blankets will be delivered to senior citizens in and around the Savannah area.
