EXPECTATIONS classroom It is my belief that a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort among parent, child and teacher. You as the parent play a major role in helping your child reach the maximum of his or her potential. By working together, I believe we can all help your child become the best person possible- socially, emotionally and scholastically.  My expectations for conduct and academic standards are high. Your participation and encouragement in and out of the classroom will be major contributions to your child’s success this year. Please review the behavior management plan and behavior expectations with your child, as misbehavior of any sort will not be tolerated. Please join me in encouraging your learner to do his or her best at all times.

There are many good reasons for parents to volunteer at school There are many good reasons for parents to volunteer at school. It's a great way to show your kids that you take an interest in their education, and it sends a positive message that you consider school a worthwhile cause. To become a school/classroom volunteer, you must attend a volunteer training conducted by the school counselor. During the training, a background check will be conducted, and you will be given a volunteer card upon clearance. A valid volunteer card is need to chaperone ANY school field trip.

Behavior Management System Class Dojo

Parents: if there are any changes in how your child will be getting home for the day, please send a written note. If the changes occur after school begins for the day, please call the office and notify the staff. The message will be passed along. Although Class Dojo and email are great forms of communication, we often are unable to check them in a timely manner as we are in the middle of instruction.

Where do you go and what do you do? Bus riders will wait in the classrooms until called and will be escorted. Car riders will be called and escorted to the gym. Daycare riders/ Walkers will be called and escorted to the cafeteria. Primetime will be called and dismissed to the art room.
