Field Trips * T-shirt money due ! * We plan to take 2 off-campus field trips. * Class t-shirts should be worn on each trip. * We usually ask for parent volunteers. Sometimes it is necessary for us to set a limit for the number of parents attending. * Any parent attending a field trip must provide their own transportation.

Snacks and Birthdays We will have snack on an individual basis this year. Please send a healthy snack with your child daily. If you would like to send a special snack for your child’s birthday, please let me know. Please send all snacks to school in the morning. Celebrations We will have a few class or holiday parties this year. I will let you know in advance what I need you to send.

Scholastic Book Orders * In first grade we want to encourage a love for reading! * This year I will send home Scholastic Book Order forms once a month. * Scholastic offers a wide variety of reading materials at a very low cost. * For every book ordered, our class receives points. I am able to purchase books for our classroom library using these bonus points. * Online: scholastic.com Code: MW9T7 * If you are able order books online, we receive one book for every order!

These forms can be found in your child’s agenda and there is a link on my website. * Dismissal begins at 2:30 and ends promptly at 2:45.
