Jazz is considered America’s classical music

Originated from New Orleans, Louisiana In the 1900’s then began to spread throughout the country

Where did Jazz come from? Jazz is considered to be a more developed form of the Blues.

The invention of the phonograph by Thomas Edison made the rapid spread of jazz possible He would sometime play the jazz records backwards because “they sounded better that way.”
