ITS JUST A MATTER OF ORDER IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

God has established a dynamic order of authority for His Kingdom.

1 Co.11.3 There is ORDER between the members of the Trinity: God the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit

God is the Head over Jesus Christ I Co. 11.3 “But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.”

The members of the Trinity work together to accomplish God’s plan. There is a mission, and each one of them functions within that plan in submission to God.

The best way to understand the meaning of SUBMISSION is by understanding the unity and harmony that exist within the Trinity. Its an OPERATIONAL SUBMISSION to bring about the Will of God to the earth.

Its just a matter of order!

There is ORDER in the Family Eph.5.22-28; 6:1-4

There is ORDER in Society Rom. 13; Eph. 6.5-9

There is ORDER in the Church Heb. 13.17; Eph. 5.17-21

JESUS is the HEAD over the Church. The Father put Him on that position.

For the husband is the head of the wife, Ephesians 5.23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.

This is the ORDER: GOD JESUS CHRIST THE CHURCH

1 Corinthians 12:12-13 12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

WE ARE CHRIST’S BODY

1 Corinthians 12:14-16 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason [k]any the less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason [l]any the less a part of the body.

1 Corinthians 12:17-18 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.

Each one of us is a member of His Body

The Body of Christ is a whole unit formed by men and women saved by Him.

1 Corinthians 12:27 27 Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

There is ORDER in the Church

Each member of the Body has to learn how to hear the Head’s voice and how to walk in submission to one another in the local life of the church. When they do that they are ready to do ministry in the church.

GUARANTEES THAT ONLY CHRIST IS LEADING THE CHURCH SUBMISSION TO THE HEAD GUARANTEES THAT ONLY CHRIST IS LEADING THE CHURCH AND THAT HE IS THE ONLY HEAD AND THAT HIS VOICE IS OBEYED, AND NOT HUMAN VOICES OR PERSONAL OPINIONS.

When the members of a family learn how to walk in submission at home, there is order and God’s direction

They will be prepared to walk in submission to the Head, to the spiritual leaders and to one another in the Body of Christ.

Paulo teaches that as there is order in the natural family, there is also order in the spiritual family.

The Holy Spirit Preserves the Unity of the Body 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. (Eph. 4:3-6)

GIFTS ARE GIVEN BY GRACE 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. (Eph. 4:7)

THE ORDER OF CHRIST FOR THE CHURCH

JESUS CALLS MEN AND WOMEN Christ’s Order JESUS CALLS MEN AND WOMEN AND ENTRUSTS THEM WITH THE MISSION OF EQUIPPING THE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY.

THE GIFTS OF CHRIST: The equippers of the church 11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

THE ORDER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT The HOLY SPIRIT baptizes men and women into the Body of Christ and each on receives gifts and tasks to accomplish for Christ under the ORDER established by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:19-22 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

THE ORDER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT When all members understand it and walk in their given gifts and calls ALL in the church are edified. AND THE CHURCH GROWS TOGETHER IN UNITY AS ONE BODY TO BECOME GOD’S SANCTUARY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.

“21 and submit to one another in the fear of Christ.” The ORDER OF THE SPIRIT Eph. 5.21 “21 and submit to one another in the fear of Christ.”

Submission fits well to the Body of Christ, to servants called to work together to accomplish the mission given by God.

Because rebellion disqualifies anybody for leadership ministry. SUBMISSION is crucial in the lives of those who want to serve in the church. If on has not learned submission he/ she should not lead in the church. Because rebellion disqualifies anybody for leadership ministry.

Heb. 5.7-9 7 In the days of His flesh,]He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. 8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

Learn SUBMISSION at any cost. Model submission at home. Teach the biblical meaning of submission to your family Do the same in the life of the family of God. Grow together as the Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ in submission.

Learn YOUR CALLS AND GIFTS. LESSONS TO LEARN Learn YOUR CALLS AND GIFTS. Pray to hear the Holy Spirit about your call and gifts. Start working in the church according to them. Work in submission to your leadership and keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Let God use you for His glory and for the edification of the church. Celebrate the harvest, the growth and the unity.
