Careers Scotland Strategic Aim - to equip individuals with the skills to be effective lifetime career planners The Careers Scotland Business Model places individuals’ needs at the heart: - targeting those who most need our support - stage of individuals’ career decision making - supported by tailored provision of services and products available at three levels including self-help, assisted and in-depth

Careers Service Northern Ireland Careers Guidance Policy Development and Operational delivery housed within the Department for Employment and Learning (Skills & Industry Division). Working with key partners in : - Employment Service - Education (Post Primary / Further and Higher) - Curriculum Development - Invest NI (Enterprise) - Community and Voluntary Sector - Skills Development (Sector Skills Councils)

Connexions Connexions offers integrated support to all 4 million 13-19 year olds in England – it is one door a teenager can go through and know they will receive help to deal with any issues that are barriers to them achieving their learning potential Integrated advice, guidance and support. Universal but differentiated – access for all 13-19 year olds. Key objective to reduce the proportion of 16-18 young people NEET(Not in Education Employment and Training) by 10% across most of England by 2004.
