Product features Ruukki SP2E PU sandwich panels are composed of two external facings made of steel sheets and a polyurethane insulation core. The rigid HCFC-free, self-extinguishing polyurethane foam features very good thermal insulation properties. Panel facings are made of metal sheets galvanised on both sides, with the parameters of S280GD or S320GD steel and zinc coating weight of Z275 g/m2 or Z190 g/m2. The standard version of the sheets is protected with polyester coating. The sheets are also available with PVDF coating, which features improved resistance to ultraviolet radiation. In case of facilities with increased hygiene and sanitary requirements, like food production and storage, panel facings may need extra protection. For such applications a hard and food-safe PVC(F) coating of 120 μm, or 1.4301 or 1.4404 corrosion-resistant steel acc. to EN 10088-1:2007 is recommended. The use of the seal ensures that panel locks are vapour-tight and it eliminates the need for additional application of a sealing compound during assembly. Facings and coatings Our sandwich panels have facings made of galvanized steel sheets with durable organic coatings, which provides perfect protection against corrosion. Ruukki offers a 25 micron thickness of polyester in a colour compliant with a Ruukki’s sandwich panel colour scheme. Cold and deep freeze storage facilities One of the most important elements in the structure of a cold store is the effectiveness of thermal insulation of walls and ceilings. Cold and deep freeze industry - a reference facility Pago deep freeze storage and distribution centers in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Lębork, Warsaw, Dąbrowa Górnicza Ruukki's task was to manufacture and supply sandwich panels with a polyurethane core, as elements of the cold insulation of the facilities, and profiles sheets with anti-condensation coating for the roofing of the structure. Food storage - a reference facility PPHU Awex, a vegetable sorting and storage facility in Nowe Skalmierzyce The cladding of the facility was done using cold-storage sandwich panels with a polyurethane core. Ruukki’s profiled sheets were used as the roofing material. Ruukki supplied a total of 10,000 m2 of materials. The panel elevation was mounted in the horizontal assembly arrangement with the structure maintained outside.
