Who we are MISSION The mission of the Fly Fishers International is to support, enhance and preserve fly fishing opportunities. Fundamental to this mission is environmental stewardship and education. Flyfishersinternational.org

Who we are STRATEGIC VISION At its core, the Fly Fishers International is the only outdoor sports non-­­profit organization exclusively representing fly fishing for all fish in all waters. Our core connection vehicle is education. We strive to be the best fly fishing educators in four areas: casting, tying, fly fishing skills and conservation. Flyfishersinternational.org

Who we are HISTORY Original concept was to create a national federation of fly fishing clubs. There were 12 founding clubs. First Conclave held June 1965 in Eugene, Oregon hosted by McKenzie Flyfishers. Flyfishersinternational.org

Who we are HISTORY Second Conclave in September 1966, FFF had grown to 29 clubs. Regional Councils were created to govern a largely volunteer organization Membership office located in officer’s home Flyfishersinternational.org
