Veteran to BSN Pathway: An Innovative and Collaborative Approach to Transfer and Transition Introductions: Imelda R. Revuelto, MSEd VBSN Grant Manager & Director of Student Affairs Dr. Jené M. Hurlbut, RN, MSN, MS, PhD, CNE VBSN Project Director & Principal Investigator

Presentation Objectives Participants will: Have a general understanding of the institution’s educational model as well as the VBSN grant and its goals. Be able to identify at least 2 key policies that were developed to support veterans transferring into a VBSN Pathway. Understand the mechanisms developed for assessing the competencies of acquired knowledge to award upper-division competency-based credit.
