Mixed Media Project

Mixed media simply means more than one media Mixed media simply means more than one media. Media is the material used for the art project. A mixed media work is a combination of a few types of materials. You will be working on 14” X 17” Bristol board. It is a smooth card stock type surface. This is good for many types of materials.

Some examples:

Your rules: Use color. Think about overall composition. Layering will probably be necessary, either with transparent layers of paint, or actual collaged elements, or both. Before attaching permanently, move things around to get some ideas.
