The Power, and the Pressure II Cor. 4:7-12 Walking Through II Corinthians Last weeks Message The Pot, The Possession, The Power, and the Pressure II Cor. 4:7-12

“From Here To Eternity” II Cor. 4:13-18 Part One This Weeks Message “From Here To Eternity” II Cor. 4:13-18 Part One

A. Salvation Begins With Faith The Dynamics of Genuine Faith “Here” It impacts the tongue – It can’t be silent It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, II Cor. 4:13 It impacts the spirit – It produces a knowing Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you in His presence. II Cor. 4:14

The Dynamics of Genuine Faith “Here” Cont. It impacts our hope – It produces assurance Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you in His presence. II Cor. 4:14 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. II Cor. 5:1 It impacts our boldness – It removes fear of death

The Dynamics of Genuine Faith “Here” Cont. It impacts others – It frees us to be servants …or all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. II Cor. 4:15 It impacts our endurance – It renews us Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. II Cor. 4:16

The Dynamics of Genuine Faith “Here” Cont It impacts our perspective - It measures by eternity For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. II Cor. 4:17 It impacts our vision – It sees beyond the visible So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. II Cor. 4:18
