Where is Antarctica? Antarctica is at the bottom of the earth If you start anywhere on earth and keep going south, you will get to Antarctica The south pole is in Antarctica

Countries in Antarctica There are no countries in Antarctica But, many countries from around the world share Antarctica peacefully

Weather in Antarctica Antarctica is the coldest continent It is frozen all year round!

People in Antarctica No one lives in Antarctica, because it is too cold But, some scientists visit Antarctica They study weather, animals, and land in Antarctica

Animals in Antarctica Very few animals can survive in Antarctica Antarctica is home to many kinds of penguins There are no polar bears in Antarctica, they live near the North Pole!

Cool facts about Antarctica If you stand on the South Pole in Antarctica, no matter which way you turn you will always be facing north!

Antarctica’s Shape An elephant!! If you look at Antarctica from the bottom of the Earth, it looks like… An elephant!!

10. Why did many countries decide to share Antarctica? It is a nice place to visit for a vacation. They did not know how to share. Scientists from many countries could go there to study weather and animals. The penguins lived there first.
