SUMMARY What is an image? Image as a visual language. Communication elements. Communication funtions. Kinds of Images.

Why are pictures like texts? If something is used for the same….. it has the same elements, And even it has the same purpose… Isn't it the same?

IMAGE AS A VISUAL LANGUAGE Images communicate and express themselves through the visual language. Visual communication can transmit events and ideas. WHAT ABOUT my words, about a novel, about a poetry.....?

Think about a canvas, a sculpture, a comic, a map... and even about that poster... that is in front of you.
