5. Functional art: you can use it Functional art is anything that has a purpose. Artist had or has a reason to make it Art is made to use Could be clothes, signs, advertisements, buildings, cars, items we use or furniture

Philosophical art (a.k.a…modern art) Art has meaning Tells a story, sparks emotions, makes comments about society At first glance its hard to see what the subject is Viewer becomes really important because he or she brings your own experiences to the picture. No ones opinion could be wrong with modern art. What you see is what the art is about.
