Review of Chapter 5 Questions

Read Chapters 6 and 7 Write examples of simile, metaphor, and imagery on a piece of paper.

Socratic Seminar 101 Inside Circle: Outside Circle: Draw and read the question aloud to the inside circle Think about your answer to the question You must answer the question in more than just a yes or no- make sure to explain your answer. You must talk in the circle at least 3 times. You may only talk if you have the talking stick! Outside Circle: Write your thoughts and opinions of the question asked on your sheet of paper. You will be asked to share after the inside circle is finished. You must have 5 thoughts written down on your paper. We are keeping a tally of how many times you answer and how thoughtful your answers are!

Self Assessment Give yourself a score with 3 being awesome, 2 being okay, and 1 being not so good for each DLT and explain why you gave yourself that rating and what you can do better next time: I can actively participate in discussions assuming various roles. I can apply active listening skills. Be honest- this will not be the grade that you receive for Socratic Seminar.
