Context Landlocked and liberalized economy Agriculture provides almost 60% of export earnings and bulk of raw materials for industry Uganda currently accounts for 70% of the maize & beans trade in the EAC region FtF focuses on developing value chains of coffee, maize and beans through: Improving production and marketing (market facilitation approach) Combating counterfeits Improving policy formulation and implementation Expanding financial services through a donor-to-donor collaboration Helping to create a more-enabling environment
