FSA Math

6th Math – What we do… To be successful in Math, students should: Stay organized. Keep all their work and take readable notes. Practice by completing homework each night. Study for tests by self-assessing. Practice the problems from notes and study guide and check for understanding. Ask after attempting and reviewing notes. How parents can help: Assignments for the week are copied to the planner on the first day of the week. Please review the assignments and sign the planner for the student to maintain 100 on the planner/homework assignment. Check for test dates and to be sure student has studied. Check with teacher about extra help.

Math – The Test The FSA is computer-based. A paper copy of the reference sheet will be allowed. A four-page work folders will be allowed. Many questions are response-based rather than multiple choice. To view the detailed test specifications and a sample test, go to www.fsassessments.org.
