Presentation transcript:

As we have more males than females, we will have to keep in mind that our results will be a reflection of mainly males views.

This shows that all but one of our questioned people are above the age of 16. Therefore, our results will not be linked to anyone’s opinions below the age of 16 because the majority of answers will be from people aged 16 and above.

The majority of people we asked like horror movies The majority of people we asked like horror movies. I believe that this will allow us to get more accurate results about what to put in our short film because these people will have more experiences of different horror films as they enjoy them.

This chart shows that the most popular ways of creating tension in horror movies are music, sound effects and a shaking camera. We will ensure that the horror sequence produced by us will use as many of these as is appropriate. Slow transitions were not voted at all which means it is very unlikely to be included in our film as it is doesn’t create tension, which is what we are aiming to do.

This chart shows that the most liked things about horror movies are shock, storyline and suspense. Our film is likely to include these things as it is what people like and want to see, so our film will be more enjoyable if it includes things that people like to see. Also, we will not include abnormality as it received no votes and is clearly not popular with our target audience.

Abnormality is one of the least liked things in horror films which links to the other question which displays the results that people do not like abnormality in horror films. Therefore, it will definitely not be included in our film. Another thing that is unlikely to appear in our film is blood & gore as the results show that people do not like to see that in horror films.

The results from this chart show that the woods and sub-urban houses wok well in horror films. Our initial plan was to film the scene in a woods and that idea has been given a boost by the preferences of our target audience.

The results of this question are very close to each other, but the most voted answer was that people do not care is they can relate to the storyline or if its based on a true story. However, the results were only divided by one vote, so there is no need to make big changes to make the film based on a true story or not.

These results show that people prefer the villain to get caught or die at the end. Although, the vote for the villain surviving was only one vote behind, so we have many choices to what will happen to the villain as there are 3 popular outcomes.
