Mathematics

Types of Math Questions 1. Multi select : The student is directed to select all of the correct answers from among a number of options. These items are different from multiple-choice items, which allow the student to select only one correct answer. These items appear in the online and paper-based assessments. 2. Multiple Choice: The students will choose the best answer choice and fill in one bubble for the correct answer. 3. Equation Items: The student will write a response in the box provided. Some equation items have 2 parts. The students will write the answer in the box for both parts. 4. Technology Enhanced items: The student selects numbers, words, phrases, or images and uses the drag-and-drop feature to place them into a graphic. This item type may also require the student to use the point, line, or arrow tools to create a response on a graph.
