Go LNG LNG Value Chain for Clean Shipping, Green Ports and Blue Growth in Baltic Sea Region

Aim of the project GoLNG project will focus on developing LNG comptence and value chain (in Baltic Sea Region by: Providing strategic approach towards the LNG infrastructure deployment in BSR shaping BSR Blue Corridor strategy Consolidating integrated LNG value chain adding users to existing LNG infrastructure. Providing technology, skills and knowledge for LNG value chain, establishing BSR LNG competence center. Providing business opportunities for regions LNG industry, establishing BSR LNG business cluster. Establishing a sustainability factor for LNG infrastructure, providing LBG value chain, technological concepts and business models

Project content structure BSR Blue corridor strategy BSR LNG Business Cluster BSR LNG competence center Integrated value chain study Functioning business network Training programs LNG fuel distribution strategy R&D Training and research infrastructure LNG Standard and regulation toolbox Study visits Service package LNG shipping index B To B meetings Network of training institutions LBG business concept Business plans and pilot projects

Blue corridor strategy The aim of the Strategy is to establish strategic approach of LNG infrastructure development and mobilize the critical mass of technology, business partnerships, and regulative authorities to implement LNG powered transport networks in BSR. We will provide a model on how LNG infrastructure should be deployed in order to establish LNG powered transport corridors for Maritime; Road; Rail;.

Integrated Value chain High infrastructure cost and limited demand, effects to the fact that cost of infrastructure is from 30 to 50 % of the LNG cost for end user. From the project perspective to decrease price cap we need to consolidate wider value chain adding new users, that will contribute to LNG infrastructure development and maintenance price and will decrease investments risks . The aim of the WP is to provide the technological and regulative concept/value chain for integrated use of existing LNG infrastructure in BSR. Integrated value chain will increase competitiveness of LNG fuel by improving economic and environmental performance and increasing the fuel and infrastructure demand. The integrated value chain is dedicated to enable BSR blue corridors from the technical content point of view, The WP will result in to the deep analysis on how to implement integration of LNG business models to increase LNG distribution efficiency, demand and economy to enable LNG powered transport corridors in BSR. We will need to find out how to increase efficiency and economic performance of LNG infrastructure, by adding users and integrating technologies.

BSR LNG competence center The aim of the WP is to establish BSR LNG Competence Center by gathering BSR based LNG competence, knowledge, training facilities and research infrastructure, providing collaboration and management model to enable joint service supply and project development. Target competences: LNG storage and bunkering Cryogenic and pressure technologies LNG as a fuel for ships LNG safety and operations LNG for maritime personnel LNG project management, business modelling LNG economy purchase, contract management LNG for road, rail and inland water transport LNG standards and regulation, legal environment We will utilize regions experience, infrastructure and competence in to the business opportunity for research and training institutions.

BSR LNG Business cluster In order to apply Integrated LNG Value Chain and enable LNG powered transport corridors in BSR project aims to establish BSR LNG Business cluster. Cluster will help to gather and establish the critical mass of business to facilitate service, finance, technology and innovation for deploying LNG infrastructure, applying LNG as a fuel utilizing the Regions environmental challenges in to the business opportunities. Business opportunities Collaboration platform Innovation Experience, Knowledge, Competence We will build and efficient and sustainable business network.

LBG Project will aim at establishing value chain, technological concepts and business models in order to enable coastal communities to produce and supply Shipping and Port energy consumption. This will ensure sustainability of LNG infrastructure and economic grow in the coastal communities Sustainability of LNG infrastructure Technology Business model With LNG it is clean, with LBG sustainable, both together reliable clean energy source.
