Build a peaceful and better world The Olympic values: Build a peaceful and better world through sport Joy of effort Fair play Respect for others Pursuit of excellence Balance between body, will and mind Based on the five educational values of Olympism

Olympic values: what do they mean? Joy of effort Fair play Respect for others Young people: challenge themselves and each other in physical activities; develop physical, behaviour and learning skills. Fair play is an important value in sport and in the wider world. Learning fair play behaviour in sport helps develop fair play in life. Olympic values: what do they mean? Pursuit of excellence Balance between body, will and mind Trying for excellence helps young people: make positive and healthy choices; work for the very best they can be and do.
