Chameleons By Nevaeh Bernard

Animal Group A chameleon is a reptile. It has rough scales.

Habitats A chameleon lives in Africa, Asia, India, and the United States.

Food Chameleons like to eat insects.

Adaptations My animal has adaptations to survive in their environment. Chameleons have sharp claws Chameleons have long tongues. Chameleons have webbed feet. Chameleons get camouflage by changing their color to the color of the thing that they are standing on.

Babies My animal usually has up to 20 babies at a time. When my animal is a baby it is called a Baby Chameleon.

Interesting Facts about Chameleons Chameleons change color when they are standing on something to be camouflaged. Chameleons have really long tongues to get their prey easier. Their tongues are bigger than their bodies.
