Animal Report by Eve Murray

Introduction Are you free to learn about the lizard today? I know I am, because I have info that will blow your mind. Did you know the lizard’s back two legs fourth toe is longer than all the other toes. If you think that’s cool I’m also writing about body parts, life cycle, food and nutrition, habitat, enemies and survival and anything else you can think of. Sense were all ready by now lets get started. Wait a second I have to flip the page.

Body Parts Did you know that the lizard also has intresting, and strange body parts. Did you ever see the lizard has a third eye. The lizard uses the third eye to detect light. The lizard also has very sharp claws. Lizards use their claws to help them climb, and eat. Also most lizards have spikes. The lizard was made with spikes to help protect themselves. Strange enough lizards have a little bit of tall skin in between the back of the four head and the middle of the neck. The have them, because they don’t die if a bird eats that skin slack. Speaking of pertection lizards ears look hiden, but you can still barely see them. And as we all know lizards have scales. Now thank you for exploring the lizards interesting body parts.

Habitat Did you know lizards need shelter too, because if they get to hot, or cold and can’t get to the right temperature they could die. Most lizards live in warm places with enough shelter. Some lizards are taken from their habitat and are sold to live with people. Talking about people some lizards live around our houses. They live everywhere, because if you know how to look for lizards you’ll probably find some.A lot of geckos live in deserts, rainforests, and mountains. But most of all as I already

Food and Nutrition Did you know lizards need food and nutrition just like us. Most lizards eat insects. Some lizards even dive in the sea and eat there. Crazy enough some lizards eat smaller lizards. Other lizards use their scary moves to get their pray, but almost all lizards spy to get their pray. They usually eat according to when their prays come out. As you can see we all have different foods and nutrition, but it all depends where and how we can get it.

Life Cycle The lizard goes through an incomplete life cycle. An incomplete life cycle is when the animal is born, and just get bigger. The lizard is first born as an egg. Then it hatches. After that the baby will start to get bigger, and bigger. Once its matting season, the lizards will mate, and wait till they’re ready to start the cycle again, and again.

Enemies and Survival Did you know what the lizards enemies and how they survive. Well to give you what I think of it, lizards are afraid of almost every animal that is bigger than it. Most lizards can blend in with something around themselves. If they can’t, well their enemie at the moment is very happy. Not the lizard. After awhile, they will adapt to the new habitat.

Interesting Facts Did you know lizards are endangered. Lizards are endangered, because their pretenders have gotten bigger. Many people have found and made more enemies to the lizard. Good thing the lizard will find a way to protect themselves from their new enemies, by using their catalogue in their habitat. Someday there will be no more lizards, so use what you know and what you learned to save the lizards of the world.

Closing Paragraph I chose the lizard, because I thought it was interesting how there endangered, and how they have a third eye to detect light, and how they go through an incomplete metamorphosis, and how they mostly eat insects for nutrition, and how they live in the humid weather, and how they protect themselves from humus and if they get captured they’ll be sold in stores to be someone’s new pet. I just really hope you’ve enjoyed learning about the lizard through my words in my eye view.
