How Many Points Do I Need?
Pre-sessional English student moving on to main course Re-sitting or Re-taking Examinations and don’t have a visa to cover that time New student and your last visa was for another institution On a family members’ visa (PBS Dependant) and you need to renew your visa On another visa and you want to change to a visa to study with us
Prepare Well In Advance You will need to give yourself at least 28 days to save the money you need. You should also apply before your current visa expires.

Money for your course fees You need to pay either: a) 1/3 of your course fees and show the rest of your tuition fee and living expenses in your bank account; or, b) Pay the full tuition fee and only show your living expenses in your bank account* *you will receive £500 discount if you pay your full tuition fee before you enrol on your new course
Money for your living expenses You need to have £1,265 Money for your living expenses You need to have £1,265.00 for each month of your course up to 9 months* = £11,385.00 *if your course is over 9 months you only need to show a maximum of £11,385.00
Money for your visa application Both your course fees and living expenses must be in your chosen account for everyday of 28 days before applying

Using A Parent’s Account You will need to add two additional documents if you will be using your parent(s) account: - your original birth certificate - parental consent letter

The Process 1. Start to save the money you need – tuition and living expenses – in your chosen bank account 2. Send all your academic qualifications as stated in your conditional offer to either the email address in the offer letter or to visahelp@culc.coventry.ac.uk 3. Book a visa extension workshop by going here: http://coventryuniversitylondonvisahelp.gettimely.com/book 4. Register for and fill in as much of the online Visa Application Form as possible using the guide here. (This will open up as a new page on your browser). 5. Bring your laptop (to access the application), bank statement, copy of your CAS, academic qualifications, photographs and other documents to the workshop

I Have Family Members Applying With Me I Have Family Members Applying With Me... Each family member must have £845 for a maximum of 9 months = £7,605.00 Their money can be in your bank account, their own bank account or joint bank account between you and them. They can also be named on your scholarship letter.
