Method: Survey September 2016 and January 2017. web-based survey of organisations electronic invite sent by CRESR in seven local authority areas distributed by local infrastructure organisations, GMCVO and Stockport Council across all local authority areas. A Greater Manchester version of the survey 201 responses for the city of Manchester.

Method: Focus Groups 2 focus groups in Manchester (9 across GM) small VCSE groups/social enterprises registered charities Key themes: volunteering working with the public sector working with other VCSE organisations working with the private business sector
