Mission Statement To provide your students an experience into the world of creativity and thinking through science, engineering and mathematics so that they can become life long learners

30 Year Heritage Sponsored by AIAA Vandenberg Section & other base organizations/companies to promote AIAA K-12th Grade STEM outreach initiatives in local schools Held 1985 through mid-90’s at various LUSD locations to include Lompoc High Held at Endeavour Center Maple Continuing Education High School (neutral location) from mid- 90’s to 2008 Held at Manzanita Chart School location 2009-2010 Held at Vandenberg Middle School 2011-13 since Endeavour Center moved to that location Held at Lompoc Valley Middle School in 2014 and will consider alternate locations to host in the future

Purpose To supplement or replace LUSD held fairs by rewarding excellence through cash and plaque awards, ribbons and certificates of participation

Benefits Talented Engineers, Scientists and Technicians from Vandenberg AFB and the community serve as judges to donate their time and run a first class Science Fair for LUSD This program greatly benefits the Central Coast by bringing together Students, Teachers, Community Members and Parents in a single setting to outreach and network
