History of UNL The University of Nebraska was founded on February 15, 1869, less than two years after Nebraska became the nation's 37th state.

Admission Requirements All incoming Freshmen must have- 4 years of High School English/Language Arts. 4 Years of High School Math including Algebra I and II, Geometry and one more additional advanced math class. 3 years of High School Social Studies including American History and American Government. 3 years of High School Science including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences. 2 Years of Foreign Language

Admission Requirements All incoming Freshmen must have- In addition to meeting the core class requirements, traditional freshmen students seeking admission to the University should: be ranked in the upper one-half of their high school class, OR have received an ACT composite score of 20 or higher*, OR have received a SAT total score (Critical Reading and Math only) of 950 or higher*.

Undergraduate Degree I would like to study Elementary Education. I will need to take all core required classes and credits. Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA to remain in good academic standing in the College of Education and Human Sciences. Participate in field experiences within diverse academic settings. Be selectively admitted into the endorsement program prior to professional education course work.
