2 Admission Requirements English: 4 units, one of which may be speech or debate; two units emphasizing composition or writing skills. Acceptable courses may be English 9, 10, 11, 12; English Literature; Speech; Debate; Journalism; etc. Mathematics: 4 units (Algebra I and higher). Acceptable courses may be Algebra I, Algebra II/Intermediate Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus, Math Analysis, etc.

3 Admission Requirements Social Studies: 3 units. Acceptable courses may be World History, American History, Government, Principles of Democracy, etc. Science: 3 units, one of which must be a laboratory course. Acceptable courses may be Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, etc. Fine Arts: 1 unit. Acceptable courses may be Visual Arts, Music, Theater, Painting/Drawing, etc. Foreign Language: 2 units, same language.

4 Admission Requirements high school class rank percentile and aptitude examination percentile is :120 or greater: Generally directly admissible. However, the university's placement process (math placement exam, etc.) may require remediation and reduced schedules for some students. 100-120: Students may be admitted, but will receive enhanced advising, recommendations for remediation, and reduced academic schedules.

Less than 100: Students in this range are normally admissible only after additional academic development which is not available at Missouri S&T. Students in this category are encouraged to apply to Missouri S&T through the Transfer Assistance Program. ACT requirements: composite score of 24+ SAT requirements: composite score of 1090+
