Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training The Technical Services ,Plant Industry inspectors are charged with enforcing 9 statutes Commercial Feed Law Seed Law Fertilizer Law Nursery & Greenhouse Law Animal Remedy Law Potato Law Alfalfa Leafcutter Bee Law Apiary Law Wyoming Environmental Pesticide Control Act

Federal programs include: Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training Federal programs include: Issuance of USDA Federal Phytosanitary Certificates, USDA Commodity certification (beans, potatoes, wood)

Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training Nursery Stock and Seed Program

Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training Licensed for both Seed and Nursery Stock can be acquire through the Wyoming Department of Agriculture at a fee of $25.00 If you don’t obtain a license before doing business in Wyoming you are guilty of a misdemeanor, fined not more than $750 for each offense, and may have license suspended or revoked.

Nursery Stock Program: Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training Nursery Stock Program: 4 Plant Industry inspectors each covering 5-7 Counties (Some inspector have weights and measures or administrative duties as well) 689 Licensed Nurseries in the state. 250 inspections a year What we look for in an inspection is: insect disease prohibited, noxious or restricted weeds or plants licensing shipping certificates labels

What we look for in an inspection is: Wyoming Conservation District Certification Training Seed Program: 4 Plant Industry inspectors each covering 5-7 Counties (Some inspector have weights and measures duties as well) 412 Licensed Seed Dealers in the state. 180 Samples a year 260 inspections What we look for in an inspection is: prohibited, noxious or restricted weed seed licensing labels review (lot #, kind of seed, distributor information, %of pure seed, inert matter etc. See page 4 of seed law for more info)
